  God sent Jesus to set the example, He sent the holy Spirit to empower us to follow the example. He commanded us to preach to “ every creature." 

The purpose of being filled with the Holy Ghost is not to “ speak in tongue" but to give proof of the resurrection to boldly witness of Christ to unbelievers.
